CatalogueMaster

Larger organisations often have a requirement for several types of integrated functionality – catalogue management, web publishing and systems integration. CatalogueMaster is designed to manage all of these processes in a single instance, reducing fragmented processes, cutting costs and improving the buying experience of customers.
A Typical Process within a Large Supplier/Distributor

Typically a large supplier has a number of back office systems running which manage orders, invoices, pricing, stock control, despatch, sales and marketing. These are often fragmented resulting in the re-keying of orders, manual processes around pricing, catalogue production being separate to the core process and clerical staff providing the manual interface between systems. The addition of a web site to this can add to the fragmentation as it provides yet another process for the service delivery teams to manage.
This fragmentation is costly to the organisation and impacts on the quality of service delivered.
A Simplified and Integrated Process using CatalogueMaster and the Integrated Web Portal

CatalogueMaster and our integrated web portal begin to pull all processes together through one interface. CatalogueMaster will act as the central interface and content/catalogue repository for the organisation. It has an integration layer which allows it to work with all back office systems mapping customers, orders, pricing and stock availability together in one place with views internally through the in-built MIS and externally through the integrated web portal to the customer base.
CatalogueMaster supports a wide range of transmission mechanisms for orders and invoices, including EDI, XML, Fax, Paper and capture of telephone orders if required.
Increasingly we see a migration to electronic trading, however it is important to deal with ‘today’s world’ equally in the move to new systems.
The web portal will integrate with any existing web site or buyer micro-site, it integrates into the @UK PLC community of buyers and other marketplaces with which we have integrated.
CatalogueMaster will export files to content management and publishing systems to manage a consistent set of information, prices and communications.

The Move to Supplier Managed Content

Catalogue Master can also integrate with the @UK PLC Supplier Management System which can run through the same web portal. Here your suppliers are asked to check their products and prices and ensure that they are up to date and consistent. They can then upgrade this into a fully trading facility and use it to accept your orders electronically and submit their invoices electronically.
